aww - that is so lovely Z, thanks for sharing such a personal memory. My memory of my great great grandparents and the Victorian home they built (that still stands) is also as you put it . . 'precious'.

It's a picture of an old traditional Bulgarian house from 19th century. Today it's became a museum. I also carry one precious memory in my heart- my grand-grandparents used to live in a house like this. For me it has captured the very essence of the Bulgarian spirit!
